“Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m calling to urge [Decision Maker/Organization] to ban Israeli wines in BC liquor stores.
Banning Israeli wines from BC is consistent with both the BC government ban on the sale of Russian alcohol in February 2022 and with the more recent ban on alcohol from U.S. red states.
With international groups recognizing the genocide in Gaza, issuing arrest warrants for Israeli leaders, and condemning Israel’s ongoing illegal settlements, BC must act. Many Israeli wines are produced in occupied territories, directly supporting land confiscation, water inequality, and the erasure of Palestinian heritage.
Just as BC banned Russian products, banning Israeli wines would send a strong message: we won’t support oppression. Please take action to uphold international law and human rights. Thank you.
